Frank L. Servoss passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, at the age of 96, in Albany, Oregon. He is survived by Donna, his loving wife of 73 years, his five children; Catherine Hawkins (Phil), Jim Servoss (Jan), Patty Culpepper (Jim), Terry Petersen (Dana), and Carole Dowsett (Mark); 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Frank was born and raised in Belt, Montana.  After serving in the US Army (82nd Airborne) and earning a college degree, he embarked on a 40-year career in banking, beginning as a clerk in his hometown of Belt.  In 1965 his expertise and vision led him to Medford, Oregon, where he became the founding president of Crater National Bank.  Under Frank’s leadership the bank flourished and grew throughout many Southern Oregon communities.  In 1980 the bank was acquired by Western Bank of Coos Bay.  Frank and Donna then moved to Coos Bay where he soon became the President & CEO of Western Bank until his retirement in 1988.

Throughout his career he engaged in community activities with numerous organizations including Eagles, Kiwanis, United Way, Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary.  He served on boards of directors for Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital, Shakespeare Theater in Ashland, St. Mary’s High School, and the Portland Branch of the Federal Reserve of San Francisco.

After retirement Frank and Donna moved to Sunriver, Oregon, wintering in their Arizona home.  Frank enjoyed golf, tennis, fishing, hunting, skiing, and boating.  He and Donna spent time traveling and RVing with family and friends.  For the last nine years, they lived in the independent side of the Albany Bonaventure.

Frank was a man of strong character, judgement, and integrity, and made many friends throughout his life.  He loved his family, loved the Lord, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  No service is planned.
