Arrests
Failure to appear, drugs — Ivana Lynn Balcom, 28, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Balcom Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, menacing and resisting arrest as well as a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Balcom was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
Disorderly conduct, criminal trespass — Bryan Scott Covington, 54, of the 1800 block of Stiveon Court, Napa, California. Medford police arrested Covington Wednesday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass. Covington was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Theft, criminal trespass — Edward Lee Welcher, 44, of the 1200 block of Triangle Drive, Central Point. Medford police arrested Welcher Thursday on charges of second-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a parole violation for first-degree arson and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Welcher was lodged in jail without bail.
Online sexual corruption of a child, luring a minor — Anthony Nicholas Wheeler, 39, of the 2500 block of Wagon Trail Drive, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Wheeler Wednesday on charges of first-degree online sexual corruption of a child, second-degree online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor. Wheeler was lodged in jail on $250,000 bail.
