Arrests

Failure to appear, theft — Tyler Kendrick Edwards, 40, no known address. Central Point police arrested Edwards Monday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest as well as charges of second-degree theft and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Edwards was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail. 

Disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon — Kevin Neil Merriman, 47, of the 800 block of West 14th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Merriman Monday on charges of disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, coercion and harassment. Merriman was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Parole violation — John Fitzgerald Riddle, 46, of the 1000 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Riddle Tuesday on a parole violation for first-degree theft. Riddle was lodged in jail without bail. 

Giving false information to a peace officer — Kayla Dayle Williams, 34, of the 50 block of Betty Jo Way, Talent. Phoenix police arrested Williams Tuesday on a charge of giving false information to a peace officer. Williams was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
