Arrests
Failure to appear — Omar Jesus Alvarez, 25, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Alvarez Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of identity theft, driving under the influence of intoxicants, unlawful possession of a firearm or ammunition, first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, third-degree theft and second-degree forgery as well as a charge of unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Alvarez was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Burglary, disorderly conduct — Michael Lee Coggins, 29, of the 10 block of Northeast Piedmont Street, Grants Pass. Central Point police arrested Coggins Thursday on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and menacing. Coggins was lodged in jail on $100,000 bail.
Sexual abuse, luring a minor — Luis Enrique De Jesus Puga Mendoza, 41, of the 100 block of Fielder Lane, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Puga Mendoza Thursday on charges of first-degree sexual abuse, luring a minor and first-degree invasion of personal privacy. Puga Mendoza was lodged in jail on $1,000,000 bail.
Assault, robbery — James David Lee Hergett, 34, no known address. Ashland police arrested Hergett Saturday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault, harassment, assault on a peace officer, third-degree robbery, second-degree theft, third-degree escape and resisting arrest. Hergett was lodged in jail without bail.
Criminal mischief, attempting to elude police by vehicle — Roman Dean Salazar, 35, of the 4700 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Jacksonville police arrested Salazar Friday on charges of third-degree criminal mischief, attempting to elude police by vehicle, reckless driving, false reporting and a probation violation for second-degree robbery. Salazar was lodged in jail without bail.
Sexual abuse, harassment — Naser Khesraw Aimaqnoor, 36, of the 1200 block of Fulton Avenue, Sacramento, California. Medford police arrested Aimaqnoor Sunday on charges of second-degree sexual abuse and harassment. Aimaqnoor was lodged in jail without bail.
Reckless endangering, driving under the influence of intoxicants — Arik Jason Foxx, 30, of the 1400 block of Vista Drive, Central Point. Medford police arrested Foxx Sunday on charges of reckless endangering, driving under the influence of intoxicants and attempting to elude police by vehicle. Foxx was lodged in jail without bail.
