I have met and talked to Sandra LaNier McHenry who is currently running for Position 2 on the Medford School Board. I have discussed her views concerning the issues which have faced and are facing the district. I believe she has the background, knowledge and energy to bring forward a sense of collaboration in making sure that the needs of Medford students are first and foremost.

She has children in the district and is well aware of the challenges facing them and their peers in meeting the future with a solid education. I have no hesitation in recommending her for your consideration.

I support Sandra LaNier McHenry as she seeks election to the Medford School Board.

As the mother of two children who matriculated through the Medford schools and now with a granddaughter in high school, I understand the frustrations and the strength of our school system. Nothing is more important than children getting a good education for their success in life and because attachment to school can insulate them against many negative choices they might otherwise make.

The reasons Sandra is running resonate with me and represent goals that are exactly what we need for the Medford Schools. Among the most compelling reasons I support her is her collaborative approach, as she believes in a full partnership between parents, schools and the community.
