The boy’s father, Michael Mahoney, posted to a community group asking for community members to help find the boy, who he said was last seen by his mother on the porch of his home.
Mahoney said the boy disappeared just after 10 a.m. JCSO officials confirmed a 911 call was received around 10:27 a.m.
Mahoney worried his son “might’ve gotten picked up on the street” and was going door-to-door to alert neighbors about the boy. He urged nearby residents to look inside vehicles in the area.
Mahoney said the boy’s parents are separated.
