Arrests
Disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon — Jedediah Seth Burrell, 52, of the 900 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Burrell Thursday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon, contempt of court for violating a release agreement, menacing and resisting arrest. Burrell was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
Domestic abuse — Chad Mitchell Granger, 35, of the 100 block of Parkdale Circle, Grants Pass. Eagle Point police arrested Granger Thursday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Granger was lodged in jail without bail.
Drugs, failure to appear — Travis Ray Metcalf, 46, of the 800 block of Crystal Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Metcalf Thursday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful possession of prohibited firearms or silencers, unlawful delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance and unlawful possession of cocaine as well as warrants for failure to appear on charges of unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a marijuana item. Metcalf was lodged in jail on $253,000 bail.
Failure to appear — Emmett Mitchell Avila, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Avila Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, second-degree criminal trespass and menacing. Avila was lodged in jail without bail.
Conspiracy of altering or obliterating firearm identification numbers — Audrik Elliot Darling, 18, of the 600 block of Shadow Way, Central Point. Medford police arrested Darling Saturday on charges of conspiracy of altering or obliterating firearm identification numbers and unlawful carrying or concealing of a firearm. Darling was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Fugitive — Haley Noel Nelson, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Nelson Saturday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in Georgia. Nelson was lodged in jail without bail.
Forgery, identity theft — Tiffany Rosina Garcia, 42, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Garcia Sunday on charges of first-degree theft, first-degree forgery and identity theft. Garcia was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Fugitive — Felton Taylor, 37, of the 2600 block of Village Boulevard, White City. Oregon State Police-Southwest Division arrested Taylor Sunday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in California. Taylor was lodged in jail without bail.
