Arrests

Kidnapping, domestic abuse — Dane Andrew Cope, 36, of the 3600 block of Comuna Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cope Friday on charges of second-degree kidnapping, strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, menacing-domestic abuse, harassment, coercion, unlawful use of a weapon and interfering with making a report. Cope was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $300,000 bail.

Failure to appear — Stefan Amos Winfield, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Winfield Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, reckless endangering, hit and run vehicle- property damage and second-degree criminal mischief. Winfield was lodged in jail without bail. 

Failure to report as a sex offender — Dominic Matthew Cobine, 27, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Cobine Saturday on a charge of failure to appear as a sex offender. Cobine was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Fugitive — William Tait Moore, 34, of the 9400 block of Wauchula Road, Myakka, Florida. Medford police arrested Moore Saturday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in Florida. Moore was lodged in jail without bail. 

Reckless driving, drugs — Corey Matthew Blakey, 36, of the 10 block of Lindley Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Blakey Sunday on charges of reckless driving, reckless endangering, attempting to elude police by vehicle, attempting to elude police by foot, resisting arrest and a parole violation for unlawful delivery of heroin. Blakey was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Timothy James Mini, 33, of the 800 block of West 12th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Mini Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of identity theft and second-degree theft. Mini was lodged in jail without bail. 

Disorderly conduct, felon in possession of a firearm — Chandler Valentin Ruiz, 28, of the 30 block of Dion Court, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ruiz Sunday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, felon in possession of a firearm, hindering prosecution, tampering with evidence, unlawful use of a weapon and a probation violation for felon in possession of a firearm. Ruiz was lodged in jail without bail.
