Sanctuary One Tours: Sanctuary One, a nonprofit animal rescue care farm, will offer tours at 10:30 a.m. every Friday and Saturday through Oct. 18, at 13195 Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. A staff member or volunteer will guide you around the farm, explain how a care farm works and answer questions. The tour also includes a chance to meet the sanctuary’s herd of rescued farm animals and house pets. Tours last 90 minutes and involve walking about 3/4 mile. Spencer and Wennlund will perform folk songs that stir us to an awareness of the times we live in. Wine Walk: The Rogue Valley Lions Club will hold the third annual Wine Walk from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, along East Pine Street in historic downtown Central Point. Thirteen local wineries plus downtown merchants add up to an evening of memory-making with family and friends. Stroll the historic downtown Central Point streets as you stop to sip, savor and shop to support the Rogue Valley Lions. Light appetizers and local musicians will add to the festivities.
