- People attend Saturday’s Habitat for Humanity ceremony in Talent where the Reyes-Medina and Garcia families got keys to their new homes in Talent.
Habitat for Humanity will hold a homeowner orientation later this month to find partner families for an upcoming build in east Medford.
The upcoming project off Grandview Avenue is described as Habitat’s biggest to date, according to a news release.
The orientation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28, at the Habitat administrative office, 2201 S. Pacific Highway, Medford. It will provide an overview of Habitat and its mission, the housing program qualification standards for 2025 and the application process and requirements for this project. Interested individuals can register for the orientation online and find more information on income guidelines at roquevalleyhabitat.org/medford. For those unable to attend, a recording of the orientation will be available online the next day.
On Jan. 28, Habitat will distribute and begin accepting applications for 30 days from interested parties. Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. Applications will be available on Habitat’s website to download and print or interested persons can pick up a printed copy of the application at Habitat’s administrative office or at the Habitat ReStore, 2233 S.
