Sandy De Vore

December 13, 1964 – December 25, 2024

In Loving Memory of Sandy De Vore:

Sandra “Sandy” Sue (Frauendorfer) De Vore, 60, passed away peacefully at her home in Eagle Point, Oregon, on Christmas morning, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born December 13, 1964, in Norfolk, Nebraska, one of ten children of James and Kathaleen (Frisch) Frauendorfer. Sandy grew up on a farm near Humphrey, Nebraska, where she attended Madison High School. She then had her son, Kevin, and they moved to Oregon four years later, where she continued to live throughout the remainder of her life.

Sandy worked many years in the dental field in Medford, Oregon. It was in one of these dental offices that she met the love of her life, Reggie De Vore. After many years of dating, they eventually wed on September 17, 2011, and she gained two loving children, Jacob and Victoria. She eventually left the dental field and began to work for their family businesses, De Vore Electric and Construction and Reggie D-Sign.

She loved animals, especially her dog in Heaven, Hekla Mae; her miniature horse, Willy; and her many cats and chickens she had over the years. She loved gardening, fishing, hunting, entertaining, and camping.

Sandy will be lovingly remembered for her big, bright smile, her amazing cooking, her strength and toughness, her kindness, and, most importantly, for being a great wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Reggie De Vore, of Eagle Point, OR; three children, Kevin (Holly) Frauendorfer, of White City, OR, Jacob (Sarah) De Vore, of Eagle Point, OR, and Victoria De Vore, of Eagle Point, OR; and three grandchildren, Katelyn, Kellen, and Evelyn. She is also survived by her nine siblings, Paul (Jane) Frauendorfer, Deb Preister, Jim (Lori McCoy) Frauendorfer, Linda Korth, Wanda Frauendorfer, Lisa (Clete) Borchers, Ryan (Julie) Frauendorfer, Roger Frauendorfer, and Rachelle (Justin) Bleich, all of Nebraska; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Kathaleen Frauendorfer; in-laws, LeRoy De Vore and Katherine (Mayer) De Vore; and brother-in-law, Kerry Korth.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the Mace Center at the Expo, 1 Peninger Rd, Central Point, OR, 97502.
