Arrests

Probation violation — Daniel Laverne Compton, 47, of the 200 block of Gangnes Drive, Talent. Talent police arrested Compton Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation for first-degree theft. Compton was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Fugitive — Joseph Elton Gardner, 48, of the 5000 block of Morse Avenue, Sacramento, California. Central Point police arrested Gardner Monday on a fugitive warrant from Texas. Gardner was lodged in jail without bail.

Parole violation — Jason Mark Gray, 49, of the 100 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Gray Monday on a parole violation for first-degree burglary. Gray was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse, probation violation — Sixto Guzman-Murillo, 49, of the 1000 block of Murray Avenue, Medford. Jackson County Circuit Court judge set custody and release conditions for Guzman-Murillo, who was arrested on felony charges fourth-degree assault-domestic violence. Guzman-Murillo was also arrested on charges of of first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft, attempted second-degree theft and stalking. Guzman-Murillo was also arrested on a probation violation for fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse. Guzman-Murillo was lodged in jail on $32,500 bail.

Robbery — Andrew Yung Sam Hecker, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Hecker Monday on charges of third-degree robbery and third-degree theft. Hecker was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Burglary, vehicle theft, contempt of court — Tyler Joseph Lopez, 40, of the 4000 block of Carberry Creek Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lopez Monday on charges of first-degree burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and contempt of court for violating a restraining order. Lopez was lodged in jail and released. 

Failure to appear — Kourtney Franci Ann Smith, 32, of the 2000 block Amaryllis Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Smith Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Smith was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance. 

Failure to appear — Angel Jacob Suarez, 28, of the 600 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Suarez Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Suarez was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Failure to appear — Darrellye Lynn Tharp, 32, of the 300 block of West Pine Terrace, Central Point. Tharp was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Tharp was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
