Arrests
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle — Evsevio Ivan Castillo, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Castillo Sunday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Castillo was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
DUII — Leyne Camba Chan Jr., 42, of the 2nd block of South Foothill Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Camba Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants-alcohol, attempting to elude police by vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm or ammunition. Chan was lodged in jail and released.
Assault — Calvin Chinon Char III, 48, of the 200 block of Front Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Char Sunday on a charge of third-degree assault. Char was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Dennis Wayne Genarie, 56, no known address. Medford police arrested Genarie Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Genarie was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Failure to appear — Anna April Peat, 48, of the 1000 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Peat Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Peat was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Domestic abuse — David Brian Stclair Jr., 34, of the 7000 block of Jacqueline Way, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stclair Sunday on charges of second-degree assault-domestic violence, felony strangulation-domestic abuse, felony fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, harassment and resisting arrest. Stclair was lodged in jail without bail.
Criminal trespass, failure to appear — Trace Amber Clary, 41, of the 18000 block of East Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Ashland police arrested Clary Friday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and city ordinance offense. Clary was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of harassment. Clary was lodged in jail on $33,000 bail.
Failure to appear, parole violation — Jeffrey Lynn Kenton, 63, no known address. Ashland police arrested Kenton Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft and parole violation. Kenton was lodged in jail without bail.
Vehicle theft — Michael Eugene Lewis, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Lewis Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Lewis was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Domestic abuse — Brian Jeffrey Palmer, 40, of the 1000 block of North Keene Way Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Palmer Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse. Palmer was lodged in jail and released.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Jose Antonio Steiner, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Steiner Friday on felony and misdemeanor charges of failure to report as a sex offender. Steiner was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Burglary, theft — Rosanna Marie Castaneda, 54, of the 3000 block of Corey Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Castaneda Saturday on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. Castaneda was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Failure to appear — Stephen Crane, 43, of the 2000 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Crane Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct. Crane was lodged in jail without bail.
Vehicle theft — Kashi Nath Jones, 26, of the 100 block of Lincoln Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Jones Saturday on charges of aggravated first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jones was lodged in jail without bail.
