Arrests

Domestic abuse — Edgar Agustin Avilezorpineda, 29, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Wednesday on a felony charge of strangulation-domestic abuse and misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and harassment. Avilezorpineda was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Suspended license, restricted weapon — Jason John Robert Drayer, 38, of the 8000 block of Kyra Lane, White City. Medford police arrested Drayer Wednesday on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license felon in possession of a restricted weapon. Drayer was lodged in jail and released. 

Vehicle theft — Avery Nicole Kelleher, 20, of the 60000 block of OB Riley Road, Bend. Medford police arrested Kelleher Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Kelleher was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Theft, restricted weapon — Duane Deshawn King, 33, of the 2000 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested King Wednesday on charges of second-degree theft and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. King was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Vehicle theft — Brandon David Klimper, 33, of the 1000 block of 10th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Klimper Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Klimper was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Domestic abuse — Derrick Ryan Miller, 32, of the 1000 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Miller Thursday on a felony charge of strangulation-domestic abuse. Miller was also arrested on a charge of hit-and-run resulting in property damage. Miller was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Theft, failure to appear — Amber Lyn Phillips, 34, of the 100 block of River Edges Circle, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Phillips on a charge of second-degree theft, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Medford police arrested Phillips on warrants for failure to appear on charges of interfering with a police, parole or probation officer, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft and unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of heroin. Phillips was lodged in jail on $66,000 bail.

Escape — Garth Coleman Smith Jr., 23, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Smith Tuesday on a charge of second-degree escape. Smith was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail. 

Failure to appear — Yukon Jerek Smith, 46, no known address. Ashland police arrested Smith Thursday on a charge of city ordinance offense and warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and city ordinance offense. Smith was lodged in jail and released.

Failure to appear — Benjamin Lawrence Trujillo III, 36, of the 1000 block of South Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Trujillo on warrants for failure to appear on charges of attempted first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse. Trujillo was lodged in jail without bail.

Marketplace
