Arrests
Drugs — Florentino Ray Alvarez, 27, of the 100 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Alvarez Tuesday on charges of unlawful possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful delivery of cocaine. Alvarez was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Identity theft, disorderly conduct — Donald Blake Byers, 34, of the 700 block of Welch Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Byers Monday on charges of computer crimes, fraudulent use of a credit card, identity theft, first-degree theft, third-degree escape, first-degree forgery, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, interfering with a peace officer and giving false information to a peace officer along with warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and first-degree theft. Byers was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Nathan Ray Jackson, 49, no known address. Medford police arrested Jackson Tuesday on charges of failure to report as a sex offender, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, second-degree criminal trespass and a parole violation for failure to report as a sex offender. Jackson was lodged in jail without bail.
Domestic abuse — Kara Elizabeth Scholer, 42, of the 2700 block of Eagle Creek Drive, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Scholer on charges of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Scholer was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Disorderly conduct, domestic abuse — Jon Eric Corbell, 63, of the 300 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Corbell Tuesday on charges of second-degree assault-domestic abuse, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing-domestic abuse, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. Corbell was lodged in jail without bail.
Disorderly conduct, criminal trespass — Sarah Nadine Morton, 26, of the 700 block of Bennett Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Morton Wednesday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, attempted assault on a peace officer, interfering with a peace officer and resisting arrest. Morton was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Criminal mischief, menacing — Victoriano Isaac Ruiz, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ruiz Wednesday on charges of third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing-domestic abuse. Ruiz was lodged in jail without bail.
