The Copperfield Fire, a blaze burning east of Chiloquin in Klamath County, has grown to about 200 acres, according to multiple agencies.
The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office has issued Level 3 (Go Now) evacuation notices for zones KLU-E061, KLU-E062, KLU-E063A-A and KLU-E063A-B, according to the Watch Duty app.

A Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuation notice has been issued for zones KLU-E035B and KLU-E060E.
The Chiloquin Community Center, at 140 S. 1st Ave. in Chiloquin, and Klamath Falls Fairgrounds Building No. 2 (blue building) are in use as evacuation points, according to the Klamath County Emergency Management website.
The wildfire, which is endangering structures, erupted south of Sprague River and Williamson River roads.
Sprague River Road has been shut down between Williamson River Road and Lone Pine Road, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office.
Several fire crews are working to contain the flames, which are burning in dry, windy conditions, according to a release on Medford Alert.
“Firefighters are expected to work through the night to establish containment lines and prevent further spread,” the release said.
This is a developing story and will be updated as needed.
