Arrests

Animal abuse, kidnapping — Danny Gene Beard, 40, of the 20900 block of Antioch Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Beard Wednesday on charges of first-degree animal abuse, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and coercion. Beard was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $1,000,000 bail. 

Criminal trespass, robbery — Seth David Gunter, 47, of the 700 block of East Main Street, Medford. Phoenix police arrested Gunter Wednesday on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, third-degree robbery and menacing as well as a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct.  Gunter was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Domestic abuse — Baylie Elizabeth Kingsley, 23, of the 200 block of Mobile Drive, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kingsley on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, unlawful use of a weapon-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, menacing-domestic abuse and harassment. Kingsley was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail. 

Criminal trespass, disorderly conduct — Lee Leon Tyrone Ollison, 39, of the 1100 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ollison Wednesday on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct and a parole violation for second-degree attempted kidnapping. Ollison was lodged in jail without bail. 

Fugitive — Terry Kent Stephens, 69, of the 23600 block of Highway 62, Trail. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephens Tuesday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in California as well as a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Stephens was lodged in jail without bail.
