Music festival ‘a job well done’
To the folks putting on the Rogue Music Fest and the piles o’ folks who worked it and volunteered … GREAT JOB!
I have no idea if the venture will be a financial success or not, but you pulled this one off in a fantastic manner. My wife and I really enjoyed it and had a great time.
Thanks a ton for learning from the past and making this event an enjoyable experience. A job well done.

Rogue shouldn’t be a speedway
Why do they keep allowing these companies to turn the beautiful Rogue into a motor speedway?
They dredge the river destroying spawning habitat for already threatened salmon and steelhead. And for what? So they can go fast?
Enough already!

Jet boats disrupt sanctity of river
I live on the Upper Rogue River and have witnessed the jet boats flying down river. You can hear them from far off.
The wildlife panics and scatters. The boats fly by at high rates of speed and there is no one to enforce the laws. They have no right to disrupt the peace of our river and wildlife.
Additionally, this is an accident waiting to happen. There are too many fishermen, rafters and swimmers. Why would anyone put the pleasure of jet boats above the safety of people and the sanctity of the river.

‘Dilbert,” ex-subscriber won’t be back
Seeing how we all, as Americans, have a First Amendment right, when is Dilbert coming back?
I’ll re-subscribe when he returns.
