Keith Johnson 

November 29, 1955 – May 6, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Gregory Johnson, born in Ishpeming Michigan, raised in Medford Oregon, and living in Cameron Park, California passed away on Saturday May 6th at 5pm in Redding, California. Family surrounded Keith, and he will be forever remembered. 

Keith was a loving and devoted father to his three children Kevin, Kyle, and Katie. Keith loved to snow ski and was the ultimate sports dad, attending every soccer, basketball, tennis, or cheer competition his children participated in. Keith loved adventures with his kids, relatives, and friends. He devoted his time to countless amazing skiing, camping, backpacking, and motorcycle vacations. But utmost, he was a University of Oregon Duck fan, always wearing his green and yellow and never missing a Ducks football game. 

Keith received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and worked in the Energy Policy sector field, ensuring everyone had enough heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. 

In addition to his three children, Keith is survived by his ex-wife Kimberlee and siblings Bruce, Eric, Carl, Karen, Deb, and his beloved cat Boots. Keith was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Dorothy Johnson and his brother Roger. Keith will desperately be missed by all those that he has left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this unexpected loss. 

Memorial donations may be made in Keith’s name to his favorite charity, the UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
