Arrests
Failure to appear — Austin Samuel Carpenter, 48, of the 3000 block of Alameda Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Carpenter Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Carpenter was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
Probation violation — Diane Abigail Davila, 30, of the 5000 block of Gebhard Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Davila Wednesday on a probation violation on second-degree burglary. Davila was lodged in jail without bail.
Theft — Shelbie Marie Gaethle, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Gaethle Tuesday on charges of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree burglary and identity theft. Gaethle was lodged in jail on $30,000 bail.
Methamphetamine, failure to appear — Gerald Louis Haussler, 60, of the 98000 block of Rivendell Lane, Brookings. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Haussler on charges of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine-less than one ounce. Haussler was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of heroin and felon in possession of a firearm. Haussler was lodged in jail on $40,000 bail.
Theft — Dylan Keith Hewlett, 32, of the 1000 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Hewlett Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree theft, and second-degree theft. Hewlett was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Sexual abuse — Matthew Allen Holt, 47, of the 2000 block of Poplar Drive, Central Point. Medford police arrested Holt Wednesday on charges of third-degree sexual abuse and menacing-domestic abuse. Holt was lodged in jail without bail.
Domestic abuse — Trevor Joseph McDonald, 42, of the 2000 block of Eagle Creek Lane, Ashland. A Jackson County Circuit Court judge set custody and release conditions Wednesday for McDonald, who was arrested on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse. McDonald was lodged in jail and released.
Failure to appear — Kassandra Cecile McIntyre, 30, of the 63000 block of Boat Basin Road, Coos Bay. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested McIntyre Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and reckless driving. McIntyre was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
Failure to appear — Randy Allen Purcell Jr, 33, no known address. Medford police arrested Purcell Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Purcell was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Harassment, failure to appear, probation violation — Joycelyn Estefania Rizo, 26, known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Rizo Tuesday on a probation violation for aggravated harassment and a warrant for failure to appear for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. A Medford Municipal Court judge also issued custody and release conditions for Rizo, who was also arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Rizo was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Failure to appear — Tracy Dalan Schmitt, 56, no known address. Medford police arrested {span} Schmitt Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Schmitt was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance. {/span}
Failure to appear — Destinnea Heaven Thomas, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Thomas Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of interfering with a police, parole or probation officer. Thomas was lodged in jail without bail.
Theft, failure to appear, probation violation — Chelsea Jean Ward, 37, of the 800 block of Ellen Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Ward Wednesday on charges of second-degree theft and third-degree theft. Ward was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Ward was also arrested on a probation violation for felony fourth-degree assault-domestic violence. Ward was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
Theft, failure to appear — Kevin Lee Willis, 36, of the 400 block of Berrydale Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Willis Tuesday on charges of second-degree theft and third-degree theft. Willis was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft. Willis was lodged in jail on $23,000 bail.
Tampering with a witness — Casey Lee Wnorowski, 39, of the 1000 block of Dixie Lane, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Wnorowski Tuesday on charges of tampering with a witness. Wnorowski was lodged in jail on $7,500 bail.
Failure to report as a sex offender — James William Wood, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Wood Wednesday on a felony charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Wood was also arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Wood was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
