Arrests
DUI — Mercedes Kaylin Cortes, 34, of the 600 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cortes Tuesday on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license, third-degree theft, felony driving under the influence of a controlled substance and hit-and-run resulting in property damage. Cortes was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
Robbery — Lawrence Paul Greene, 50, of the 4000 block of Hamrick Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Greene Tuesday on charges of third-degree robbery and second-degree theft. Greene was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Criminal trespass — Adrian Michael Grimaldo, 36, no known address. Ashland police arrested Grimaldo on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and resisting arrest. Grimaldo was lodged in jail without bail.
Identity theft — KC Lee Henshaw, 37, of the 3000 block of Avenue C, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrest Henshaw Wednesday on charges of identity theft, first-degree theft and felony fraudulent use of a credit card. Henshaw was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Criminal mischief — John David Hofmann, 48, of the 60th block of South Modoc Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Hofmann Tuesday on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief. Hofmann was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Failure to appear — Elyse Nicole Maerz, 33, of the 2000 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Maerz Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of resisting arrest. Maerz was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Nichlous Michael McGowan, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested McGowan Tuesday on a felony charge of failure to report as a sex offender. McGowan was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Criminal trespass, failure to appear, parole violation — Benjamin Roma Miller, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Miller Tuesday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of resisting arrest. Miller was also arrested on a parole violation on a charge of attempted first-degree burglary. Miller was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Todd Ryan Parmelee, 42, of the 600 block of Pinecrest Drive, Bly. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Parmelee Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on probations for first-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Parmelee was lodged in jail without bail.
Unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, failure to appear — Ethan Taylor Sartin, 32, no known address. A Jackson County Circuit Court judge set custody and release conditions for Sartin Wednesday on a charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. Central Point police also arrested Sartin on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation for driving while suspended or revoked. Sartin was lodged in jail without bail.
