ArrestsDomestic abuse — Jacob Gene Castor, 26, of the 1000 block of West 9th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Castor Thursday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, second-degree assault-domestic abuse, menacing-domestic abuse, unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest. Castor was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released.

Theft, methamphetamine — Nita Jo Brotton, 46, of the 5000 block of Fishers fry, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Brotton Thursday on charges of first-degree theft and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Brotten was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Fugitive, failure to appear — Scott Evan Ellis, 44, of the 1000 block of Northeast Klamath Avenue, Roseburg. Ashland police arrested Ellis Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. Ellis was also arrested on a warrant wanted a fugitive warrant from Douglas County. Ellis was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Stephen James English, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested English Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of menacing. English was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Mail theft — Llanae Harvey, 44, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Harvey on charges of mail theft. Harvey was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Assault — Bryce Zerbie Kerr, 32, of the 1000 block of Stevens Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kerr Thursday on a charge of second-degree assault. Kerr was lodged on $100,000 bail.

Failure to appear — Mickey Lee Lydic, 46, of the 400 block of St. Clair Way, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lydic Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Lydic was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Richard Howard Mitchell III, 40, of the 7000 block of Dark Hollow Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Mitchell Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree theft. Mitchell was not listed in jail logs Friday.

Vehicle theft — Steven Michael Pope, 35, of the 1000 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Pope Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Pope was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Domestic abuse — Roxyann Elizabeth Roberts, 28, of the 300 block of Lorraine Avenue, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Roberts Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse. Roberts was also arrested on a charge of harassment. Roberts was lodged in jail and released.

Aggravated harassment — David Allen Sankey, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Sankey Thursday on charges of aggravated harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Sankey was lodged in jail without bail.

Supplying contraband — Tristan Charles Wood, 35, of the 300 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. Medford police arrested Wood Thursday on charges of supplying contraband, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest. Wood was lodged in jail without bail.
