Jax

AGE: Jax is a handsome 1½-year-old Staffordshire mix currently in a loving foster home.

PERSONALITY: Jax’s foster mom reports that he is great in the home. He is crate and potty trained, and knows the cues: sit, stay, come and heel. He is very mellow in the house and is able to sleep and relax, when the home is quiet. He still has some puppy energy and loves to run around and chase balls. He can be vocal when excited, but does not bark in the home or yard. The foster home has no other animals, but his foster mom says that he might do well with a mellow dog, with proper introductions.

HIGHLIGHTS: Jax takes treats gently and is very affectionate and will lean into you for love. He should not go to a home with small children. He has been working on his leash skills and manners with a trainer. He is enthusiastic is to learn and is very smart and learns quickly.

AVAILABLE: Jax is available through the Friends of the Animals foster program at fotas.org/adopt. You can fill out an application at: shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FOTA/Dog
