The voter registration deadline for the May 20 special election is Tuesday, April 29, the Jackson County Elections Office says.
Ballots for the election will begin to be mailed out to registered voters in Jackson County on Friday, May 2.
Jackson County Clerk Chris Walker encourages voters to vote early and utilize the convenient pre-paid postage for ballot mailing or by using an official ballot drop box. Ballot drop sites will officially open on Friday, May 9 . Drop Sites will close at 8 p.m. on election day. To find the closest ballot drop box please use this link:

If voters do not receive their ballot by Friday, May 9, call the Jackson County Elections Office at (541) 774-6148 or email elections@jacksoncountyor.gov.
If residents are going to be away from home during the election, contact the elections office to ask about your voting options.
All mailing addresses in Jackson County will receive a Voters’ Pamphlet. The Jackson County’s Voters’ Pamphlet is inserted in the center section of the State Voters’ Pamphlet.
