Arrests
Murder — Jesus Armando Pena Jr., 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Pena Tuesday on a charge of second-degree murder. Pena was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Nathan Alexander Coggins, 34, of the 200 block of Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Coggins Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. Coggins was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
Assault — Andrew Charles Davis, 43, no known address. Central Point police arrested Davis Saturday on charges of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and menacing. Davis was also arrested on a probation violation for second-degree assault. Davis was lodged in jail without bail.
Domestic violence — Sergio Diaz-Garcia, 21, of the 1000 block of Peach Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Diaz-Garcia Tuesday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon-domestic violence, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing-domestic violence. Diaz-Garcia was lodged in jail on $30,000.
Online sexual corruption of a child — Gabriel Julian Harrison-Swinden, 29, of the 2000 block of Flanders Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Harrison-Swinden Wednesday on charges of first-degree online sexual corruption of a child, second-degree online sexual corruption of a child, luring a minor and attempted using of a child in the display of sexually explicit content. Harrison-Swinden was lodged in jail without bail.
Methamphetamine — Nicole Leann Helling, 33, of the 2000 block of Falcon Street, White City. Medford police arrested Helling Tuesday on charges of unlawful manufacture, possession and delivery of methamphetamine. Helling was also arrested on a charge of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Helling was lodged in jail and released.
Failure to appear — Christopher James Keller, 49, of the 2000 block of Edgemont Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Keller Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Keller was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Failure to report as a sex offender, probation violation — Allan Wayne Preister, 37, of the 3000 block of Rogue River Highway, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Preister Tuesday on felony and misdemeanor charges of failure to report as a sex offender. Preister was also arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Preister was also arrested on a probation violation for failure to report as a sex offender. Preister, a registered sex offender, was lodged in jail on $7,500.
Theft, criminal trespass — Bradley Dean Prevatt, 53, of the 800 block of Hermosa Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Prevatt Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal trespass. Prevatt was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Online sexual corruption of a child — Kelly Patrick Ramsey, 57, of the 10th block of Pettinger Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ramsey Wednesday on charges of first-degree online sexual corruption of a child, second-degree online sexual corruption of a child, using a child in the display of sexually explicit content and luring a minor. Ramsey was lodged in jail and released.
Failure to appear — Mark Curtis Rider, 41, of the 3000 block of SE 134th Avenue, Portland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Rider Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear on felony charges of failure to report as a sex offender. Rider was also arrested on a warrant as a fugitive from justice wanted in Douglas County. Rider, a registered sex offender, was lodged in jail without bail.
Theft, criminal mischief, criminal trespass — Jeffry Ray Weaver, 39, of the 2000 block of East Antelope Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Weaver Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree criminal trespass, first-degree conspiracy to commit first-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Weaver was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Theft, criminal trespass, methamphetamine — Marcus James Yeoman, 34, of the 300 block of Bond Road, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Yeoman Wednesday on charges of first-degree theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal trespass and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Yeoman was lodged in jail without bail.
