Images of child exploitation that were uploaded from a Medford residence brought a response Thursday from the Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team inter-agency task force and Medford Police Department.
The team served a search warrant in the 3000 block of Edgewood Drive around 8 a.m. and also interviewed possible witnesses and allegedly involved parties.
Members of SOCET, Medford police and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrived at the residence after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to a Friday news release. The investigation was assisted by the Southern Oregon High-Tech Crimes Task Force and Ashland Police Department.
During the search warrant, investigators seized digital devices that will be forensically examined for further evidence of child exploitation. There were no arrests reported.
The investigation is ongoing, and no other details were released Friday.
